They are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with an agile mindset to join their team for a fixed term 6 month contract.
about the role
This role will see the successful candidate responsible for overseeing and maintaining multiple sites and facilities within the Brisbane Metro region.
Responsibilities will include;
- Managing facilities related projects
- Supporting risk management framework
- Maintaining the facilities and equipment including electrical, air conditioning, fire services, lifts, security systems and plumbing
- Develop repair and maintenance plans
- Maintain accurate records on buildings and equipment
- Manage tenders and contracts
- Manage existing leases
- Oversee the facilities service request system
- Process and follow-up Incident Reports and hazard investigations
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
about you
We are looking for a driven and committed Facilities Manager, who is passionate delivering exceptional customer service. You will also have;
- Demonstrated experience in a Facilities Management role
- A firm understanding of risk management and compliance
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining and improving business systems
- High levels of initiative
- A strong process improvement focus
- A collaborative work style
- A valid drivers licence
