About Your Next Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for an office-based Facility Services Coordinator to join their Brisbane team on a full-time basis.
Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate property maintenance as required for laboratories and collection centres in the greater Brisbane area and to ensure a high level of communication throughout the various properties.
Core duties:
- Coordinate property maintenance including troubleshooting and coordinating installation and repairs for services such as fit-outs, plumbing, air conditioning, fire systems, building and facility maintenance, liquid waste management systems, and gas;
- Build and maintain a positive rapport with stakeholders and contractors to ensure quality and timely servicing including ensuring all workers are signed in and out of the facilities;
- Proactively monitor database maintenance requests and logging, and;
- Update contact information for services and contractors ensuring they are meeting current department requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive trades or facilities maintenance acumen and a knack for problem-solving.
You will be working with critical equipment that may require immediate attention, so you will need to be adaptable to changing priorities. You will be an excellent communicator with proficiency in articulating technical requirements to suppliers and contractors, making referrals, and completing reports.
Additionally, a collaborative work ethic is essential and will see you effectively navigate maintenance events to achieve optimal functionality and safety.
