Salary: $56,987 - $61,301 p.a (pro rata) - Ongoing Part Time - OPS2

The Facilities Service Officer is responsible for the development, coordination, promotion and implementation of safety and security strategies to ensure the provision of a safe environment for staff, clients and visitors. The general minor repairs and maintenance of all associated hospital buildings, plant, equipment and grounds. The Facilities Service Officer follows in house preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that plant and equipment out of scope of AGFMA are maintained. They are responsible for the implementation and development of the Fire Safety and internal emergency plan for the hospital and general collection and delivery of goods.

This is a part time vacancy, working 27 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
