The Public Service Association of SA (PSA) is the principal trade union representing state public sector workers who provide a wide range of public services to the South Australian community.

The Facilities Officer works with the Administration Manager to contribute to the management and maintenance of PSA assets and building facilities, and liaises with suppliers to arrange and coordinate repairs and maintenance as required.
The Facilities Officer ensures the day-to-day smooth operations of building infrastructure, through conduct of regular inspections, investigation of issues and potential issues, liaising with contractors and caretakers, and ensuring compliance with the PSA Procurement Policy, financial procedures and other relevant policies and procedures. This includes drafting reports/briefings, making recommendations and drafting proposals relating to assets and building related issues, keeping accurate records, and preparing project reports as requested.
The Facilities Officer is a member of the Administration team, and may also provide support and undertake minor project work as required.
The role is available as an ongoing full-time position.
What we are looking for:
Experience and/ or qualifications relevant to facilities maintenance and related processes
Experience and/ or qualifications relevant to project management and related processes
Experience in report/brief writing
Sound knowledge of compliance and continuous quality improvement processes
Excellent time management skills
Communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to work autonomously
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
