Opportunity
We’re seeking a Facility Claims Administrator who will become a key support person for all departmental functions and the Southern Queensland Billing Hub. You will be a key point of contact for all things billing and will be required to assist in accounts receivable functions.
We have a permanent full-time position available, working Monday to Friday based at Greenslopes Private Hospital. Greenslopes in particular offers free staff parking and a thriving social club!
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have an eye for detail along with exceptional organisational skills to plan and coordinate a busy workflow. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to maintain positive working relationships with others.
Your Key Skills and Experience
High level understanding of health funds, contracts and their application to billing
Demonstrated understanding and comprehension of accounts receivable functions
Previous experience in Meditech patient management system and SAP
Demonstrated ability to operate in an environment of change
Previous experience within the healthcare environment (desirable)
It will be ideal, although not essential, for the successful candidate to hold in-depth knowledge of:
The administration process that impacts on billing and collections
Patient admission and discharge processes
Health fund contracts
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $32.62 - $34.35 + superannuation, based on relevant skills and experience.
