Salary Range is $60,000 - $70,000 + Adverse Allowance 3.5% per hour on top + 11% Super

What You Will Be Working On
As a Trades Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and operational activities of the City's buildings and facilities. Attending to all City maintenance requirements, reactive and planned, vandalism, inside and outside of facilities.
- Assisting in general building maintenance, repairs, and operational tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of our facilities.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of maintenance, while working collaboratively as part of the Technical Services directorate.
- Acting as relief Cleaner or Property Support Officer as required, ensuring continuity of service during periods of absence.
About You
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Demonstrated experience in general maintenance and use of power tools.
- Possession of a current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of carpentry power tools and cleaning chemicals, along with a strong understanding of Occupational Safety and Health legislation.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication, with excellent customer service skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies as required
