AddressAn opportunity exists for a Factory Hand to become part of our team; Australia’s largest co product stockfeed team. The role is on day shift.
Our production site at Largs North is seeking an enthusiastic Factory Hand to join us. Prior experience in plant operations is not essential, you will be trained across all aspects of the business operation. This position is responsible for operating equipment required for the manufacture of stockfeed.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and is eager to learn and grow, is self-motivated, a team player and can work unsupervised. A strong focus on workplace health and safety is essential. Working in a fast-paced environment, you would be technically minded and have a clear focus on multiple tasks. You would also possess a level mechanical and maintenance experience.
The candidate will be responsible for and value:
- Prepare and produce orders efficiently, cost effectively and in a timely manner to meet customer delivery times
- Maintain accurate daily production records and equipment operating settings. Record times and tonnes produced, downtime, waste, rework and equipment issues to the Team Leader.
- Ability to operate in a team environment
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Following of correct Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental directions
- Equipment Care and Responsibility
- Achievement of prescribed operating instructions, production and any set tasks
- Manual work as required
- Correct documentation of QA / QC requirements for all facets of production process
