Position Overview:
Elan is seeking a diligent and physically fit individual to join our team as a Factory Hand/Labourer. This role involves heavy manual handling of tyres weighing up to 50kg, supporting our tyre recycling processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a pleasant and efficient service to all customers onsite or offsite
- Load and unload trucks on return to factory for processing
- Process waste tyres in the factory
- Offsider duties as and when required Metro and country
- Assist in the counting and categorising of waste tyres for invoicing purposes
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects, including tyres weighing up to 50kg.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as required.
