About you:
- Ideally, an experience, technical, and hands-on Production Manager or Factory Manager.
- Strong manufacturing skills and experience gained in a factory environment - fabrication, assembly, etc.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and leadership skills.
- Previous experierience with LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- An uncompromising approach to OH&S.
- A multi-tasker with exceptional problem solving skills.
- Leading the production, administrative and warehouse staff.
- Driving performance, culture and business growth.
- Overseeing plant reliability, productivity and quality.
- Managing inventory.
- Managing staff - training, appraisals, etc.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Working closely with the Production Planner.
- Reporting to the National Operations Manager.
- Other tasks as defined by the National Operations Manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity to secure an entry level position as an Operations Manager for Australia's largest manufacturer of insulated, fire rated and architectural facade systems, roofing systems and temperature-controlled facilities. On offer is a salary of up to $110k plus superannuation based on skills and experience.
