The Role: As a Family Lawyer with the firm, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting clients with a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence issues. You will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, and negotiating settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on various family law matters
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, agreements, and court pleadings
- Represent clients in family court proceedings, mediation sessions, and settlement negotiations
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in family law legislation and case law
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Foster positive relationships with clients and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their legal proceedings
- Qualified lawyer with a valid license to practice law in Victoria
- Proven experience in family law practice, with a minimum of [5] years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of family law principles, procedures, and regulations
