The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Family Lawyer to join our family law division.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As an integral team member you will work alongside the Managing Partner and be given the opportunity to instruct some of Australia's leading Counsel on a variety of matters:
Your work will include:
- Property Settlements;
- Parenting and children's matters;
- Child support and divorce;
- Attending Alternative Dispute Resolution;
- Instructing and working closely with Counsel;
- Being responsible for client's matters from start to finish.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- minimum 2 years post admission experience in Family Law;
- Hold a valid practicing certificate in NSW;
- Outstanding attention to detail and critical thinking skills;
- Solid written, analytical and communication skills;
- Be able to work autonomously and have full carriage of matters;
- Be resilient and able to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines, often with competing priorities;
- Be a confident communicator able to deal with clients from all walks of life;
- Be able to build strong client relationships
