Receptionist

The Firm 

Reid Family Lawyers is a specialist, boutique family law firm with a great practice culture. 

The Role

Full time role as our front of house and recpetionist in our Brookvale office.

Duties 

• Answering phones
• Greeting clients and other visitors to the firm
• Issuing costs agreements and initial conference invoices
• Diary management
• Data entry using Leap software 
• Preparing conference room, 
• Preparing tea & coffee for vistors to the firm
• Tidying the office and conference room
• Monitoring reception emails
• Posting, collecting and sorting mail
• New client intake and creation of files
• Liaising with clients, barristers, courts, internal and external parties
• Document production using LEAP software
• Arranging appointments and conferences  
• Filing
• Taking client payments
• Banking and balancing petty cash
• Ordering office supplies
• Archiving files
• Accounts and helping with invoicing and chasing payments
• Various other tasks as required

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years' experience or prior education in administration is an advantage
• Interest and/or experience in Family Law 
• Willingness to learn 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to guide clients through difficult times
• Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
• Exceptional organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Typing skills essential
• Strict compliance with confidentiality requirements
