Fishburn Watson O’Brien provides specialist advice to clients across the North Coast as well as boutique services to major Sydney clients and referrers. Our firm has 10 lawyers, 7 paralegals and support staff. We are located in beautiful Coffs Harbour with a Sydney presence.
We are currently seeking an experienced Family Lawyer. Salary will vary depending on the candidate, but you will be rewarded for your effort with strong incentives for performance.
We support flexible work arrangements including appropriate working from home and part-time work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading our busy family law practice including various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to team members to achieve goals.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing practical advice, communicating effectively and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborating with other practice leads, lawyers and paralegals within the firm to foster a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans for the family law practice, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Required Qualities:
Candidates must have a NSW practicing certificate and at least a bachelors degree in law.
Candidates with significant experience in family law (5+ years) are preferred.
