The Role
Full time role as reception and legal secretary in our Surry Hills office.
Duties
- File management
- Diary management
- Data entry using Leap software
- Answering phones
- Monitoring & managing solicitor's emails
- Liaising with clients, barristers, courts, internal and external parties
- Dictaphone typing
- Document production using LEAP software
- Preparing briefs
- Sorting & indexing financial disclosure
- Legal searches
- Arranging appointments and conferences
- Filing
- Taking client payments
- Various other tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years' experience or prior education in administration is an advantage
- Interest and/or experience in Family Law
- Willingness to learn and a team player
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to guide clients through difficult times
- Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
- Exceptional organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Typing skills essential
- Strict compliance with confidentiality requirements
