Your role will play a pivotal role in orchestrating support, education, and care for Aboriginal children and families referred to our service due to CHILD PROTECTION and welfare concerns.
As a SAFSS staff member, you will spearhead the enhancement of program capacity, streamline implementation strategies, and drive engagement initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass oversight of programs and activities, focusing on ensuring the safety, development, and welfare of the children and families under our care. Your strategic contributions will directly mitigate risks and generate a profound impact within a short span of time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to a passionate team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Enhance program capacities, ensuring effective implementation and high engagement levels.
- Design and implement programming activities focused on improving parenting capacity, implementing routines, and ensuring the overall safety and development of children.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive program efficacy and achieve optimal outcomes for the children and families.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in Child Protection Programs or relevant fields.
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, with the ability to leverage cultural knowledge to enhance program effectiveness.
- Essential certifications include a Working With Children Check (WWCC), Police Check (issued within 12 months), and any other relevant checks as required.
