SalaryWe have an opportunity for a professional and passionate Supervisor to assist the Sydney Coliseum Theatre with their Food & Beverage operations.This role will act in a relief capacity to cover leave in the absence of the Hospitality Manager, as such this position is only available to current West HQ employees.With support form the Front of House Manager, the primary responsibility of this role will be to lead a casual pool of staff and manage operating bars on show nights, ensuring service areas are appropriately stocked and staffed and that guests and hirers are left with a memorable and lasting experience that is unique to Sydney Coliseum Theatre.Key duties include:
- Supervise the catering, food and beverage delivery within the Sydney Coliseum Theatre ensuring show riders are catered to inventory and sales data are monitored, bars and kiosks are appropriately stocked and staffed to welcome our theatre goers.
- Represent the theatre with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Ensure Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) to ensure the safety and security of patrons and staff.
- Ensure the Theatre bars are presentable prior to every performance.
- Pro-actively communicate with the Front of House Manager and F&B team.
- Take pride in the venue and maintain a high standard of appearance in the team and the building.
- Liaise with various departments to plan the culinary related logistics for shows and oversee the readiness of retail areas pre-event.
- Ensure all staff are immaculately presented for service.
- To lead and ensure the highest standards of customer experience is delivered consistently.
- To run a productive and successful F&B department ensuring staff are correctly equipped, informed and prepared for shift.

- Experience making coffee and preparing alcoholic beverages
- Prior experience working with the SCT team
- Knowledgeable working with POS systems
- Well presented with strong attention to detail
