Role Purpose & Environment
The Fibre Engineering Services division is responsible for the expansion of TPG's robust national Fibre network into commercial and residential buildings, mobile sites, DCs, POIs and other internal Fibre infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for turnkey fibre service delivery, reporting out of the Barangaroo Office in Sydney, including all construction and deployment activities whilst driving key business outcomes and KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Contractor management, working with stakeholders across the field including Sales Operations, Field Engineers, Customers, Legal, Property, Mobile and fixed Network divisions.
- Simple to Complex Projects (PLOC) - Including to direct and motivate project stakeholders, ensuring their understanding of roles and responsibilities, deliverables and that required business outcomes are met.
- Manage and build rapport with External Stakeholders (including Contractors, Consultants, Vendors, Other Carriers, Utilities, LGA, Property Owners and Strata / Bodies Corporate) to mitigate delays during deployment.
- Field visits and audits will also be an integral part of the responsibility of the Project Manager.
- You will be required to manage multiple projects across various states.
- 5 Years Experience and knowledge in Telecommunications fibre network deployment and Civil construction is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management.).
- Understanding of Fibre Network Architecture and standards in Australia.
- Organization skills and the ability to manage and meet project deadlines.
- Pro-Active stakeholder management at all levels and negotiate or navigate to seek resolution.
