At South Walker Creek, HSE operates seven large pre-strip fleets on a 7-day continuous roster. HSE Mining are seeking an experienced and trade qualified Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Maintenance Team. The role will involve planning and managing the mobile equipment fleet through preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and schedule component replacement.
Maintenance Supervisor Role
Our Supervisors work closely with the Maintenance Superintendent and Planning Team, to assist meeting Production targets by the following responsibilities:
- Measure Plant performance prior to & after all shutdowns & major services
- Lead continuous improvement activities & provide technical knowledge
- Monitor work of subcontractors to ensure that they meet site & HSE requirements
- Refine & improve shut down management procedures
- Produce reports from AMT to review machine performance
- Manage all mobile maintenance fleet component change-out work orders
- Assist forecasting monthly, 6-monthly & annual equipment maintenance plans

Requirements
- Trade qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Supervisory experience preferably in mining maintenance operations
- S1,2,3 and G2
- Experience in developing & leading a team of people to deliver successful outcomes
- Current open driver’s licence | Standard 11 | CBM – All to be current
- Thorough understanding of the QLD Coal Mining Legislation & relevance to maintenance applications
- In depth knowledge of plant & machinery within the mining environment & provision of consistent maintenance, planning & servicing practices
