Maintenance Supervisor

Golding is currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to be based at Jellinbah Mine located near Blackwater. 

The successful candidates will have a hands on and can do approach as well as proven on site mobile maintenance experience in a mining environment.

This role will operate on a 4 | 5 | 5 rotating day and night roster. Camp accommodation and meals will be provided.

Key role tasks:

• Frontline supervision of workforce ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and timely manner;
• Sourcing and attaining of required parts and resources;
• Instruct and supervise the workforce to ensure compliance with legislation and procedures;
• Trouble shooting and diagnosis of equipment faults;
• Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components;
• Routine servicing of all equipment both site workshop and field based;
• Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings;
• Participate in Hazard Identification, risk assessment and Work Method Statement Reviews.

 Key capability requirements:

• Relevant trade qualifications;
• Heavy mobile earthmoving equipment experience;
• Experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role is preferred;
• Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal supervision;
• Knowledge of SAP highly desirable;
• Excellent attitude towards safety and commitment to zero-harm;
• Self-motivated and strong work ethic;
• Sound problem solving and analytical skills.
