Address As a Field Officer / Senior Field Officer, you will demonstrate an ability to work on a range of compliance activities related to radiocommunications and telecommunications services, in particular, identifying sources of interference to radiocommunication and broadcasting services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of radio frequency communications technologies, equipment, and hardware, and will be able to apply this understanding to identify sources of interference and undertake compliance activities. You will also be able to interpret and understand the regulatory frameworks relevant to radiocommunications services in Australia.
The key duties of the position include
Field Officers/ Senior Field Officers work out in the community with households, businesses, and industry to undertake a range of activities including:
> Resolving interference issues to radiocommunications and broadcasting services.
> Carrying out field strength and electromagnetic energy measurements.
> Undertaking a range of compliance activities related to radiocommunication and telecommunications devices and services.
As a team member you will belong to a geographically diverse team with staff in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, and have the opportunity to travel to other parts of Australia. Senior Field officers are also part of the section's leadership group and participate in developing and meeting the section's business plan goals.
