The Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Coordinator to join our team in Geebung on Brisbane’s North side. You will be an integral member of our team and will be accountable for using your expertise to complete various assessments and to coordinate our field staff and various approved sub-contractors to complete tasks at many sites across Eastern Australia. Your ability to share the scheduling of a 24/7 on-call roster is a job role requirement. The role has a considerable requirement for office-based tasks which will be performed from our Brisbane office.
To be successful in this role you must have the following skill set:
- Knowledge of Fuel storage and distribution systems an advantage
- Ability to interpret customer needs based upon limited information
- Sound logistical and organisational skills – the ability to plan operative & productive service runs that meet client requirements and are cost effective
- A sound knowledge of business administration processes including quoting, procurement, job costing and invoicing
- A good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of software with reasonable knowledge of Excel
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities including report writing skills
- Strong work ethic including working autonomously or in a team environment
- Previous experience in SimPro and Xero would be viewed favourably
Our ideal candidate
- Appropriate experience in a similar role, and experience within the fuel industry would be advantageous.
- Ability to clearly communicate with high degree of literacy and numeracy including the ability to generate timely and appropriate reporting for customers
- Driver’s licence required
- Ability to manage an office and field team concurrently working alone with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- A solid knowledge of the East Coast of Australia to effectively plan field work
