In your role as a Field Service Mechanic at Diggertech, you will be primarily responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse array of civil equipment at The Clarke Creek wind, solar, and battery farm. This site is situated approximately 150km northwest of Rockhampton and 150km south of Mackay.
About You
You will have a strong service background in mechanical maintenance, specialising in servicing the civil industry and it’s equipment, experience within the heavy earthmoving industry will be highly advantageous.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on civil equipment.
- Minor and major repairs on civil equipment.
- Attend breakdowns on site.
- Troubleshoot, diagnosis and repair.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Be enthusiastic punctual and take pride in appearance and work.
- Be effective with time management and be able to prioritise critical issues.
- Work efficiently and maintain high quality workmanship and ethics.
- High attention to detail, ability to work independently in a Field Service environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post trade experience in Field Service environments.
- Civil equipment experience highly regarded.
- Relevant Trade Certificate.
- Coal Board Medical.
- White Card.
- Intermediate PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Own Tools.
- Drivers Licence (open).
- HR licence – beneficial but not required.
