About the role:
The purpose of this position is to manage the overall performance of the trades, projects and/or service operations with emphasis on safety, productivity, labour, cost recovery, profitability, customer service, quality and reliability. Effective management of trade’s staff, whilst organising work orders, including the quoting of jobs. Planning and organising staff to ensure the timely and effective completion of all work both onsite and offsite.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure all service, repair & warranty jobs are completed to the customers expected level of quality and within the negotiated time frame from start to finish;
- Delegate & schedule work to ensure the smooth operation and ensure that all day objectives are achieved;
- Maintain high levels or safety, quality & efficiency;
- Control job costings for P&L and ensure targets are met;
- Implement strategies to reduce rework and improve overall service quality;
- Control and manage all aspects of human resources within your team;
- Provide induction, support, coaching and internal training for field staff when necessary;
- Promote the highest level of quality of output including, presentation, functionality of completed work, and ensure that completed work is aligned to the customers’ expectations;
If you are a qualified Mechanical Fitter (or have good mechanical understanding), have extensive experience in Field Service, supervision, are results orientated person and looking for a challenging position in a dynamic market, then we would love to hear from you. Experience with fire suppression and lubrication systems on mobile plant is highly desirable.
