Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee Linehaul and Metropolitan transport services, ensuring safe and efficient delivery operations.
- Monitor and optimize the supply chain to ensure efficient distribution of goods to designated destinations.
- Delegate customer inquiries to specialized teams as necessary to provide comprehensive service to major clients.
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails, addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in account management processes.
- Responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization. Monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations
Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years Transport & Logistics Industry or equivalent experience; managing complex supply chains efficiently and optimizing transportation routes to enhance cost-effectiveness and delivery timelines.
- Extensive experience in Refrigerated Logistics, ensuring compliance with stringent temperature control requirements and maintaining product integrity throughout the transportation process.
- Proven proficiency in HACCP regulations, implementing robust food safety practices and protocols to meet industry standards and ensure the highest quality in perishable goods handling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of quickly identifying and addressing logistical challenges, minimizing disruptions, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
