About the Role:
Maclean are seeking a Field Service Technician to support the growing fleet of MacLean Mining Equipment in Australasia. The position is based out of Western Australian branch located in the suburb of Wangara, there will be some traveling and site work. This is a great opportunity too develop your skills on our new range of Battery Electric Equipment (BEV) and underground mining equipment. We are looking for a person with electrical or mechanical background with the opportunity to upskill. We encourage light vehicle automotive mechanics that would like to upskill to apply. We need a proactive person that enjoys a challenge. A good understanding of electrical services (PLC & HMI) and will be required to fault find and upload programs.
You will possess:
- Light vehicle or Heavy-duty Diesel experience preferred
- Auto Electrical or electrical preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications
- A current driver’s license
- Carrying out maintenance, rebuilds and breakdown repairs as required
- Fault finding, repairing and/or replacing components as required
- Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, OEM, and site requirements.
- Accurately complete all required daily activity and safety reporting as directed
- Travel to and from customers remote sites
- Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulics and fault finding
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate preferred
- National Police clearance within last 6 months
- Current Passport
