To safely and effectively troubleshoot, service, maintain and repair Onsite equipment on customer sites.
- Comply with SHEQ Policies and Procedures, and the SHEQ Policies and Procedures of our clients while attending their sites
- Take reasonable steps to ensure own safety, health and welfare in the workplace and also the safety, health and welfare of others in the workplace
- Contribute to a positive safety culture & the achievement / maintenance of our “Destination Zero” objective
- Report all hazards, incidents and near misses
- Carry out mechanical inspections, scheduled servicing, and routine maintenance of Onsite’s fleet of equipment in accordance with manufacturer and SHEQ requirements on customer sites (and in the workshop as required)
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine cause of problems / failure and repair
- Repair equipment to restore it to full functionality
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted in full and on time
- Assist in monitoring reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
- Inspect equipment upon return and immediately report any customer equipment damage to your manager to allow costs to be captured / recouped
- Clean equipment in preparation for hire
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
- Communicate with customer in relation to equipment maintenance and repair
- Maintain Field Service vehicle ensuring vehicle is fuelled, clean and inventory is replenished
- Participate in on call roster
- Undertake other roles and responsibilities as directed by the manager in line with your knowledge, skills and abilities

- Identify and report risks as encountered, and apply controls as required in policy, procedures or as directed
- Identify and fulfil compliance obligations, and report breaches as encountered
- Collaboration with others across Onsite and external to Onsite to achieve the required goals
Essential
- Minimum of Certification / Licence in relevant study area
- Trade qualification in mechanical, hydraulics, fitter and/or auto electrician
- Current Drivers Licence
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of hire industry fleet servicing, repair, and maintenance requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Professional presentation
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work unsupervised on client sites
- Willingness to work autonomously and be self-motivated
Desirable
- Minimum of Certification / Licence in relevant study area
- High Risk Work Licence LF (forklift), High Risk Work Licence WP (elevating work platform)
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience
- Familiarisation with client site-based requirements
