The Role
Are you ready to power the future? We're seeking a driven and skilled Service Technician with a qualified A Grade electrician accreditation to join our team in Kwinana. As a key player in the operation and maintenance of a cutting-edge 100MW/200MWh Battery Energy Storage System, you'll be at the forefront of innovation in renewable energy.
As a Electrical Service Technician, you'll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our BESS in Kwinana. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include executing and overseeing maintenance tasks with a focus on customer satisfaction and achieving results. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our valued clients in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance and production team members, overseeing contractors when necessary and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
- Provide technical assistance to clients, troubleshoot issues in RMUs, Low Voltage, and Control systems, and ensure the reliability of our BESS.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing valuable feedback from the field and participating in process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company and customer guidelines.
About You
- Hold a West Australian Electrical Licence.
- Possess a background in the energy sector, micro-grid, or static power conversion systems.
- Have basic knowledge of SCADA and PLC control systems.
- Hold licenses and certifications including Forklift, High Voltage Switching Operator, and LVR & CPR (or willing to obtain within 12 months).
- Hold a valid driver's license and be within a commutable distance to Kwinana.
