SalaryNEA has been servicing the Vic, ACT & NSW for the last 10 years. We are a commercial catering equipment repair company covering a wide range of technical services. We are currently looking for a motivated, well-presented and skilled Service Technician/ Electrician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. To perform in this role you need an electrician trades qualification/license from a technical college and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field working on simple and complex electrical systems.
Electrician Responsibilities:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Electrical switchboard installation as per the specified designs
Reading technical diagrams, blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation
Performing general electrical maintenance.
Measuring and laying out installation reference points
Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices to trace and diagnose faults as well as continuity of electrical circuit
Selecting, repairing and replacing equipment, cutting electrical wiring, and fixtures, connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors
Power supply connection of the electrical equipment
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment.
Electrician Requirements:
Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
Experience working as an electrician.
High school diploma.
Valid driver's license.
Electrician trade certificate from a technical college.
Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge.
Experience in the renewable energy field.

Annual Base Salary: AUD$80,000-$100,000 plus super + Overtime + Mobile phone + Company supplied vehicle.
