Role Description:
Our client is a national privately owned business with over 30 years of history in Australia specialising in forklifts and access equipment.
- Examine detailed requests or specifications to carry out jobs, material and equipment requirements
- Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, and their repairs or sub-assemblies
- Carry out hydraulic diagnosis, repair including the resealing of cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and replacements of components
- Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections to new machines
- Carry out a basic engine servicing
- Carry out mechanical repairs
- Carry out electrical diagnosis, repair and replacement of components
- Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies
- Carry out fabrication work including welding, drilling, grinding, bending and cutting of threads
- Dismantle faulty components and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
- Flexibility to partake in 9-day fortnight
- Overtime and 24 hour call roster available to earn more money
- Recieve a maintained vehichle with everything needed
- On-going product training
- Trade certificate (Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/ Plant Equipment)
- Able to work as part of a team
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Experience in Forklifts & Access equipment - desirable
- Forklift Licence
