AddressRecruitWest's client specialises in building, owning and operating gas-fired and renewable energy power stations servicing the WA and NT, resources & mining, minerals and oil & gas sectors and they own and operate power stations.
RecruitWest is working with our client to find an expereinced Mechanical Power Station Operator to work a continuous 2:2 FIFO roster.
What we are looking for you to have is:
· Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualifications.
· 2 years’ post trade experience, desirably Field Service experience.
· Gas engine and gas systems experience.
· Experience in engine rebuilds, diagnosis and troubleshooting.
· Power generation on stationary engine system experience.
· Fuel system overhaul experience.
· Remote site experience.
· Current National Police Clearance or be ability to obtain one.
· Current C Class Driver's Licence.
· Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical.
· Right to Work in Australia.
· High Risk Work Licence that may include Dogman, Rigging, Working at Heights, and Confined Space.
· Advanced First Aid (desirable).
Skills/Ability:
· Report writing skills.
· Computer literacy.
· Communication skills including ability to speak and manage clients professionally.
· Competent in the use of Pronto CMMS or similar (desirable).
