UGL’s Telecommunications division, part of our broader Services business is seeking a suitably qualified Field Supervisor for a major Telco Infrastructure project across regional Queensland. This is a permanent, full time fixed term position until the end of August 2024.
About the role
The Field Supervisor will supervise and manage field operations and personnel, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Field Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all activities on the job site, including scheduling, resourcing, and equipment needs. You will ensure that all work meets project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The Field Supervisor will also be responsible for managing subcontractor activities, providing technical support to field personnel, and ensuring that all work is completed within budget and schedule.
About You
In addition to continuously looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes, the following qualifications, education and personal traits will be highly regarded:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role within project operations
- Demonstrated previous experience in a leadership position
- Demonstrated experience using Office suite of applications
- Effective communication and management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new systems and processes
- Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety procedures
- Ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality and organise / prioritise demands
