The Business Administration Support Services (BASS) Team at the Mackay Base Hospital are seeking applications for a Supervisor to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To lead and support Administration Officers whilst co-ordinating Mackay Hospital Health Service administration requirements, facilitating succession planning, leave management and skill development for casual and permanent staff, assist with recruitment, performance management, quality improvement initiative and other concerns relevant to administration staff. This is an on-call position that requires you to work a rotational roster of either 0600 – 1430 or 0800 – 1630.
About the Team
Business Administration Support Services (BASS) supports work area within the Mackay Base Hospital by providing appropriately skilled staff to backfill vacant administration positions to meet service delivery needs. Vacancies occur as a result of various forms of planned, unplanned or extended leave. BASS manages 11 administration ‘reliever' positions and a large administrative casual pool who are utilised to provide backfill and additional administrative support where necessary throughout the Mackay Base Hospital.
