What you’ll do

  • The testing of telecommunication cables.
  • Preparing cables according to appropriate internal work instructions suitable for cable testing. Preparation includes; cutting cables, stripping cables and opening up layers of the cable.
  • Usage of technical equipments for cable testing. Other equipments will be involved to support other required tests.
  • Recording of tested values into our quality recording sheets and transfer data to our quality database. Attention to detail required during recording and identifying deviation to the design required.
  • Ability to interpret cable's technical manufacturing instructions/design (on the job training will be provided).
  • Fast learner.
  • Valid fork lift license required for movements of cable's drums.
  • Adhere to organization's Work Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • Good English communication skills for communication within the team.
  • Good team player, cooperative & good working ethics.
  • Ideally at least 6 months working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Report to the Final Test & quality manager.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience within a manufacturing industry or hands on work.
  • Good English communication skills
  • Technical mindset for mathematics and graphical analytical skills (training will be provided).
  • Good team player, cooperative & good working ethics.
  • Valid fork lift license
