Finance & Admin Manager - Accountant

Mature growth company with over 20 years’ stable management, offering a secure and autonomous full-time role. Multi-site / multiple entity group and a well-regarded leading brand in WA. The Miami Bakehouse Group comprises a central manufacturing facility supplying 6 food retailing businesses across WA’s Southwest.

Your New Role

Based in Mandurah, you will be responsible for managing the accounting team and coordinating workflow for the Group’s Accounts and Administration functions. 

Reporting to the Owner, your primary responsibilities will include: 

• Oversee your team responsible for Payroll, AP/AR, Stock Control and Month End
• Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary 
• Preparation of financial forecasting, budgets and cashflow 
• Assist with weekly end-to-end Payroll
• Collaborate with operational departments providing financial and KPI reporting
• Oversee reconciliations – Bank accounts, Credit cards, Balance Sheet, General Ledger
• Compliance activities including BAS, Super, Payroll Tax, PAYG
• Ad hoc reporting, projects and modelling
• Identifying system improvements and ensuring procedures are updated 

About You

• CA/CPA/CIMA qualified or with at least 5 years of company accounting experience 
• Proven track record in leading an accounting/admin team to success
• Proficient in MYOB with advanced Excel capabilities
• Excellent communicator with a strong capacity to improve processes and systems 
• Desirable: Manufacturing or retail industry experience; Castaway software, inventory management, group accounting experience
• For longevity in the role our ideal candidate will live within 40 minutes of our head office in Mandurah.
