Richards Tyrepower is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper / Office Admin for a busy retail tyre centre in Osborne Park.
The role requires the use of Costar, an industry leading stock management software used extensively in the retail tyre industry. Candidates who don't have experience in this software can be trained fairly easily in its operation by our retiring bookkeeper. This software is also used for the financial management and reporting of the company.
All typical bookkeeping requirements are to be undertaken - Payroll, invoicing, receipting, Debtor / Creditor balancing, Bank reconciliation, BAS filing, ATO liaison, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual preparation of reports for the company’s accountant. A thorough knowledge of the MS Office suite is also required.
A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience is preferable for this role, with appropriate Certificate or Degree qualifications. The candidate must be a registered BAS agent.
The role requires the candidate to be present in the office on most days, with the possibility of work from home for 1 day per week, through remote access / home computer setup.
Office administration work encompasses maintaining a professional work admin environment, filing and general overseeing of admin operations from the site office. Other duties may include answering the phone, running errands, provide social media marketing support (to the Marketing Co-ordinator) and providing general support to the store manager.
While this is a full-time role, it’s possible to shape the hours to fit different available work/life schedules - details to be discussed with successful candidates.
