Your new company 
Hays are proudly supporting a well known Tasmanian Business in their search for a Finance Analyst role. Based in a central Hobart location, this is an integral role within the Management Accounting team and has exposure right across the organisation. 
Your new role 
Due to continual growth, this role is Reporting into the Manger of Financial Planning & Analysis and will operate with a high level of autonomy. You’ll be based in Hobart head office and be employed on a permanent full-time basis. You’ll work with the accounting team and senior leaders to provide accurate financial and non-financial data and analysis on business performance. Other responsibilities will also include;

Business Partnering 

Develop and build Financial Models 

Monthly management reporting

Annual and project budget preparation

Other project work as required 

What you'll need to succeed 
As the ideal Candidate, you’ll have a demonstrated background within a similar role within in a commercial environment or straight out of Public Practice. CA/CPA qualified you’ll have excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and can work with minimal supervision. You’ll also possess strong IT ability, have clear and concise communication skills, and the ability to develop long and lasting internal stakeholder relationships. You’ll also hold a driver’s licence and be prepared to undergo a national police check.
