Description
Role Overview: As a Finance and Contracts Officer, the primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of financial records, actively contribute to the team's efficiency, and effectively manage commercial aspects of company contracts. The role involves proactive participation, compliance monitoring, and successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Update cashflow spreadsheets, incorporating new sales orders.
- Process contract variations and update financial records accordingly.
- Run weekly billing due lists for timely invoicing.
- Remove shipping blocks upon customer payment.
- Manage OIP status and process warranty requests in SAP.
Contracts Administration and Sales:
- Attend "Sales Handover" meetings, ensuring contract documentation completeness.
- Coordinate payment notifications and update financial records.
- Enter new sales orders and projects into SAP.
- Verify externally processed sales orders.
- Circulate project notifications and transition paperwork to Shipping.
- Issue shipping invoices and ensure Group Invoices are uploaded.
Consolidation & Reporting:
- Assist in month-end and year-end closure processes.
- Prepare and support external auditor requests.
Profile
To be successful in this role you will have proven success in managing contract administration, including contract creation, compliance, distribution and client and stakeholder relationship engagement. Finance Management of ongoing invoices and payments.
