About this role
The Finance & Data Analyst monitors, analyses and reports on NSW Health Entity budget performance and ensures compliance with Ministry financial guidance and practices. This role provides insights and other analytical support services to a range of programs, projects and stakeholders to support meeting organisational objectives. The role provides specialised financial advice to Health Entities and support to the NSW Health Chief Financial Officer.
Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $106,025 - $117,363 plus Super and annual leave loading

What you'll be doing
- Provide specialised advice to Health Entities on financial matters to ensure Ministry reporting and accountability obligations are met, monitor Health Entity budgets and analyse reports and assess and report on performance.
- Analyse and assess monthly Health Entity financial reports for accuracy of data and reasonableness of projections and prepare narrative reports.
- Review Health Entity monthly Operating Statements and Statement of Financial Position
- Prepare correspondence, advice, submissions and briefings in relation to Ministerial and other correspondence.
- Prepare advice in respect to recurrent implications for Capital Projects
