SalarySMS Mining Services, a privately owned West Australian mining contractor founded in 2000. We have evolved from equipment rental to encompass maintenance, contract mining, and drill and blast divisions. Our mission is to enhance our reputation in the mining industry.
The Opportunity:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance trades personnel (HD Mechanic, Boilermaker, Auto Electrician) as well as coordinating and managing all maintenance activities. This position plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the smooth operation of earthmoving equipment and promoting a strong safety culture within the team.
Roster Available: 8:6 & 7:7 Roster FIFO from Perth, WA
Role Located: Pilbara WA Region
Remuneration: $195,000 per annum plus super (your choice between salary or hourly rate) + $5,000 Sign on Bonus !!
What we are looking for:
- Prior site-based Maintenance Supervisory experience on heavy earthmoving equipment is essential
- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Strong knowledge and exposure to Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr Mining Excavators
- Knowledge of relevant mining related legislation (Schedule 26)
- Demonstrable leadership, communication and people management skills
- Previous AMT maintenance software exposure is advantageous
- Valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence
