We are looking for an experienced finance leader to facilitate our positive financial health position by leading financial practices, analysis, and governance to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
As a member of the management team, reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance and Insights Manager has a strategic outlook working with internal and external stakeholders to support our growth by leveraging data and Insights.
Managing a team of three, this is a proactive and hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day finance related activities of accounting, finance, forecasting, budgeting, generation of insights, and strategic planning to ensure reliable financial practices and Insights.
Working flexibly from BrewCentral in Bassendean, WA, this role works with their team and peers across Australia.
About this Role- Set and manage cash flow systems, pricing structures, margin expectations, funding requirements, and payroll practices to maintain and improve financial health.
- Prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts to proactively assist with financial sustainability.
- Lead and present management reporting, value-added business reporting, and provide insights into business operations to generate informed strategic decisions.
- Monitor and control strategy execution to ensure we are meeting our long term goals whilst fulfilling our mission and values.
- Manage, recognise, and monitor team performance to ensure a safe, capable, and engaged team with sound development plans.
- Develop, set, and monitor internal controls practices and implement processes and policies to continually enhance our performance for our organisation, community, and environment.
- Monitor and control compliance with regulatory and statutory bodies to ensure we fulfill our duties and mitigate risks.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar financial management role with experience in management accounting, company reporting, and compliance lodgments.
- Strategically oriented and willing to be hands-on with fine attention to details.
- Exhibit planning, organisation, and priority management skills, with adaptability to changing situations.
- Ability to identify key stakeholders and build beneficial relationships.
- Curiosity for continuous improvement and innovation with exceptional problem solving capability.
- Skilled in establishing sound financial practices to govern and improve the company performance.
- Sound project and change management leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system, Dynamics 365 experience will be advantageous.
- Accounting or commerce degree with CA/CPA qualification, MBA preferred.
