The role will be available for up to 12 months.The Finance Business Advisor is responsible for providing a trusted Finance Business consultancy service within the LSA. This will be achieved by building and maintaining strong relationships with LSA staff and management to increase their understanding of finance, budget management and reporting. The role will focus on collaboratively supporting Managers in the preparation and development of operating and project budget proposals.The Finance Business Advisor will also be responsible for preparing, analysing and delivering a range of high level and accurate financial, accounting and budget reports to LSA Managers and Executive. The role will work to continually recommend and implement continuous improvements to further enhance and improve the LSA financial reporting capabilities.For more information about the role, please refer to the attached .About YouWe work in a fast paced environment and we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, forward thinking person with:
- Experience in management accounting, formulation and the monitoring of budgets and budget strategies.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and build rapport, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, including contemporary financial and accrual accounting standards, structures, principles and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and monitoring of comprehensive financial and budgetary reports and briefings, including management reports and annual statutory financial statements.
