To support our continued organisational growth, we are currentlyseeking to appoint a Finance Business Advisor to join ourinnovative and passionate team. The role will be available for upto 12 months.
The Finance Business Advisor is responsible for providing atrusted FINANCE BUSINESS consultancy service within the LSA. Thiswill be achieved by building and maintaining strong relationshipswith LSA staff and management to increase their understanding offinance, budget management and reporting. The role will focus oncollaboratively supporting Managers in the preparation anddevelopment of operating and project budget proposals.
The Finance Business Advisor will also be responsible forpreparing, analysing and delivering a range of high level andaccurate financial, accounting and budget reports to LSA Managersand Executive. The role will work to continually recommend andimplement continuous improvements to further enhance and improvethe LSA financial reporting capabilities.

About You
We work in a fast paced environment and we’re on thelookout for an enthusiastic, forward thinking personwith:
- Experience in management accounting, formulation and themonitoring of budgets and budget strategies.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and build rapport,concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with arange of stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles,including contemporary financial and accrual accountingstandards, structures, principles and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and monitoringof comprehensive financial and budgetary reports and briefings,including management reports and annual statutory financialstatements.
The successful candidate will have high level attention todetail and time management skills with the ability to managecompeting priorities under broad direction. You will also be ableto demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability todeliver high quality reporting with confidence to Management andExecutive.
A degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics orCommerce/Business (majoring in Accounting) isessential.
Position Term
The position being offered is a FIXED TERM contract position forup to 12 months.
Remuneration
ASO5 $84,552 - $94,003 plus Super.
Special Conditions
Appointment will be subject to the provision of a valid NationalPolice Check (NPC) that is no more than six months old.
