Reporting to Commercial Manager the Finance Business Analystis responsible for providing analytical support for strategic decision making, supporting delivery of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
As the Finance Business Analyst, you will be accountable for identifying business insights . We are seeking an individual who has strong analytical skills, clear communication and a willingness to take ownership. To be successful in this role you will need to possess strong problem solving skills, a collaborative mindset and advanced time management capabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
The Role Recipe:
- Providing analytical support for business decision making
- Delivery of Budgets, Forecasts and variance analysis
- Strong knowledge of financial metrics and accounting practices
- Analysis, modelling, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Ability to deliver input to company projects through accountable KPI reporting
- Ability to create and communicate business cases for capital funding and business impacts
- Commercially focussed finance professional (retail industry exposure is desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in margin improvement programs to enhance shareholder value
Key ingredients:
- Formal business-related tertiary qualification and working towards CA/CPA or similar accreditation is desirable but not essential
- 1 to 2 years experience working in analytical role in FMCG or retail environment
- Highly developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
