The Opportunity
This position supports Noumi's operational decision making across all areas of Planning, Sourcing, Making and Moving. In particular, this position is required to manage cash and EBITDA targets regarding the sourcing of milk solids and losses and raw materials and support performance and project delivery regarding Distribution.
- Support the delivery of operational cash management, including the modelling of sourcing scenarios
- Provide forward looking purchasing insights into milk procurement, including surplus deficit and purchase price variance modelling
- Reconcile and provide a forward-looking view on milk, protein and cream requirements, recommendations to trade and sell and insights into cash and P&L impacts
- Own the monthly milk balancing model and make enhancements in accordance with business needs
- Provide procurement support and inputs into raw material usage and sourcing trends, and any cash implications of purchasing to Treasury
- Support month end reporting and insights into group supply chain performance, including Shepparton yield, distribution and procurement analytics
- Prepare robust commentary of monthly cost performance for Purchase Price Variance and Distribution costs to be presented at the Operations Performance Review meetings.
- Build any additional adjustments to the Forecast inputs basis actual cost trends which are presented in the Integrated Supply Outlook Review
- Ensure complete cost and cash recovery of all raw materials through budgeted COGS
