The Financial Services division, led by the Group CFO, partners with all areas of the Commonwealth Bank to provide financial control and specialist advice on financial management and strategy. This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security and property.
Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control and management services to the Technology division. We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their technology costs and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans.
In Technology Finance we support the technology function to deliver on the four pillars of their strategy; an organisation primed for delivery, a modern technology estate, world-class data and AI and best-in-class security, resiliency and reliability.

Your team forms part of the wider Technology Finance Team of approximately 90 people and provides Business Partnering and financial management services to Technology and Business Unit CIOs.
Your role is responsible for supporting the Business Banking Technology business.
Some of the key areas you will be providing support and leadership across include:
- Stakeholder management of the General Managers
- Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting and forecasting business proposals through modelling, analysis and insights
Key duties will include:
- Stakeholder management across technology and finance
- Driver based annual budget and rolling forecast
- Monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary as well as financial control and balance sheet ownership
- Financial modelling of business plans and strategic proposals
- Involvement in ad-hoc financial analysis and broader insights to drive tangible value
- Identify and assist in implementing ongoing process improvements
- Contract reviews and accounting treatment
