Finance Business Partner

An exciting full time opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Finance Business Partnerto join the TAE Aerospace team located in Adelaide.  As the Finance Business Partner you will support and inform the strategic and operational decision- making of the Turboprop and Components Division through the provision of financial insights that drive optimum financial performance, achieve financial targets and increase business value.
This role is a key position within the Finance Team and will understand the drivers, organisational strengths and weaknesses, potential threats, growth opportunities and steer the business based on financial data interpretations through a close working relationship with each member of the Divisional Senior Leadership Team.

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:
 Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Commerce, Business, Economics, Accounting)
 Achieved a Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., CPA/CA)
 Curiosity, collaboration and courage - be proactive, don’t just identify issues and comment on them, propose solutions. Looking at numbers on a piece of paper versus being out in the business, being part of the decision to do things, and then seeing the numbers.
 Effective communication – talk in a language your audience understands, be clear and concise, get to the point, stand by your views and push hard for the best business outcome
 Manage ambiguity and change – be comfortable with risk and manage ambiguity. Use the past as a guide but implement change for a better future. Do not settle for the status quo.
 Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and exercise the highest degree of discretion.
 Highly developed numeric and analytical skills including the ability to identify common trends/ similarities in complex/disparate data.
 Knowledge of/exposure to business ERP Systems
