Our On PremiseFinance Business Partner is responsible for providing critical commercial finance support to On Premise teams through valuable analysis and insights to influence smarter, more informed decision making.
Joining on a fixed term contract for 6-months (WHV accepted), this highly visible and senior role is responsible for the financial stewardship of the On Premise Business through engaging in cross functional decisions and helping to deliver a positive impact on the profitability and cash flow of the organisation.
Red Bull's new Finance Business Partner will lead the following:
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
- Acts as a contact and sparring partner for the On Premise Sales Director, Head of Key Accounts, Head of Musketeers, Head of Festivals, On Premise Marketing Manager and Regional On Premise Managers.
- Works closely with the various stakeholders, have a service mentality but also challenges them, asks questions, gives opinions, suggestions and insights based on accurate & relevant information.
PLANNING & FORECASTING
- Coordinates the Business Plan/Revised Estimate with budget owners, along with supporting and challenging the budget owners during the planning process.
- Prepares year to go best estimates, considering reasonableness of planning assumptions and market conditions.
- Prepares forecast based on the MPU (Monthly Planning Update) process and clearly articulates changes to plan.
- Highlights risks and opportunities within the forecast and appropriately challenges inputs where necessary.
MONTH END CLOSING
- Can present a true and accurate position of YTD & Full Year performance of On Premise based on Month End results and can clearly articulate impact versus target.
- Is able to articulate the performance of On Premise results through key drivers by venue or marketing activity.
REPORTING & ANALYSIS
- Prepares and distributes detailed monthly reports including comments by venue or marketing activity (internal order) and account using either SAP, BI and /or Hyperion for Key Stakeholders and Directors.
- Monthly presentation on Month and YTD impact of On Premise results to the On Premise Team – clearly articulating variances and full year impact which should steer the Business in achieving its goals.
- Degree Qualified in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- Relevant accounting qualification desired (CPA/CA/CIMA).
- +3 years Post Qualified Experience in a commercial role ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
- Highly analytical, financially literate and experienced in commercial modelling.
- Strong Business Partnering skills - able to influence outcomes and handle challenging commercial situations in a professional manner.
