Yes, there will be number crunching, however in this role you be supporting the Global Sisters team whose mission is to remove the barriers to women’s economic participation and security.
Now in the 10th year of our operation, Global Sisters has supported 6000 women, enabling them to be financially resilient and stand tall as micro business founders.
This position is an opportunity for you to become part of our community, where you can make a difference in women’s economic security by leveraging your financial management experience and your planning and organising skills.
This is a hands-on role, key responsibilities include:
Delivering financial reports to the CEO and Board, managing payroll, cash flow, bank account and credit card reconciliations, annual and quarterly budgets, monitoring cash balances, insurances, invoicing and data entry.
The role contributes as a member of the management team in the overall financial management of the organisation.
Who would this role suit?
The successful candidate should have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ financial management experience in a similar organisation. Experience in the NFP space would be highly regarded.
- A professional accountancy qualification
- The ability to work at a strategic level as well as manage day-to-day financial operations.
- The ability to clearly communicate at both a board level and to a non-financial audience.
- The personal skills to build relationships across the team.
- A demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines coupled with attention to detail.
