About the role:
This second-line Compliance role is a member of the team responsible for providing dedicated business facing second line compliance support to Tyro's business units.
What you'll do:
- Identify and analyse the impact of new/proposed/amended laws, regulations and industry codes for Tyro and recommend action plans to ensure compliance and oversee business unit implementation efforts.
- Maintain accurate systems and records of Tyro's interactions with its regulators.
- Follow up of accepted action items and ensure timely reporting back to the regulator.
- Contribute to the design, implementation and on-going improvement of Compliance manuals and policies.
- Manage the development and delivery of compliance learning.
- Contribute to Compliance reporting to boards and senior management.
- Assist Tyro with its delivery of strategic projects by representing compliance and providing business relevant and timely compliance advice.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum five years' experience working in a risk, compliance and/or audit role, in a technology company or business unit operating in the finance or payments industry.
- Minimum three years advisory experience a Compliance function.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Strong reporting skills - attention to detail with a data-driven / analytical approach.
- A team player who can work autonomously and is adaptable to change.
