The Compliance & Finance Officer will support the State Director to meet the Party’s financial obligations, during the intensity of an election campaign.
The Compliance & Finance Officer must be a strong administrator with attention to detail and the capacity to work to tight deadlines. He or she must be reliable and discreet.
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in managing finances and budgeting, including bookkeeping using Xero or similar software, in business or a community organisation.
- Well-developed organisational skills, a high attention to detail, and can organise and prioritise workloads.
- Self-motivated, uses their initiative and doesn’t require direction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and accept challenges.
Desirable:
- A Certificate III or higher qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
